ESRD National Coordinating Center Continues #TogetherWeCan, Inspiring Stories from the Kidney Community

The End Stage Renal Disease National Coordinating Center (ESRD NCC) announces the latest story in the #TogetherWeCan campaign. For National Donate Life Month, #TogetherWeCan features Mary Wu, a two-time kidney transplant recipient and spokesperson for organ and tissue donation. Each month the ESRD NCC website,, highlights true-life stories of patients and care partners inspiring the kidney community to embrace life, no matter where they are in their journey. The #TogetherWeCan campaign will feature stories about living with dialysis, receiving a kidney transplant, chronic kidney disease (CKD), the care partner’s perspective, and other aspects of the ESRD experience. The first in the series featured Valen Keefer, a woman with polycystic kidney disease (PKD) and a kidney transplant recipient, who is an inspirational speaker and advocate in the kidney community. #TogetherWeCan encourages a sense of unity in the kidney community and promotes stories of hope for those affected by ESRD.
